3 of The Best Bicep Workouts Men Should Start Using

Although there are a lot of muscles in the human body, it seems to be the biceps that are given a lot of attention and some men will work these muscles endlessly when they are at the gym.

To be certain, there is no other muscle on the human body that has as many nicknames or is referred to by their nicknames as often as the biceps. It doesn’t matter if you’re calling them guns, pythons or some other type of name, however, it all boils down to the fact that it is a muscle on the front of the arm that needs to be exercised. Here are the best biceps workout programs that you should be doing, some of which you may not even have thought about before.

The bicep is going to be worked out with a curling motion, and whenever you are working the bicep, you’re rarely ever doing anything but focusing on the specific muscle.

1st Bicep Workout

There are many types of exercises that can be done, each of them that will benefit the bicep in some way or another. We’re going to lump them all into one category, however, and say that the best way to work the biceps is simply to do some of these curls. You can either do preacher curls, which uses a barbell and mobilizes the upper arm, making the entire exercise effective or you can use dumbbells and concentration curls, which does the same thing but exercises each arm individually.

2nd Bicep Workout

Another of the best bicep workout programs is not going to work out the biceps directly but rather, is going to work as a secondary muscle. This is done through multi-joint weightlifting exercises, and these type of exercises make up the bulk of a smart weightlifting program that will work the entire body effectively. When you do multi-joint exercises, you will have a primary muscle group that is worked and the secondary muscle group will also be worked at the same time. Good examples of this are the bench press and lat pull downs. Although these do not work the biceps directly, they do work them as a secondary muscle and you will see growth as a result of doing them.

3rd Bicep Workout

The third bicep workout does not actually work the biceps at all. They are, however, exercises that should be included in any weightlifting regime. I’m talking about the squat, dead lift and leg press. These three exercises all work the largest muscles of the body and they do so effectively, especially whenever you are concentrating on going heavy and working to fatigue. The reason why this type of exercise belongs in the best bicep workout programs is because it releases chemicals into the bloodstream that signal the body to put on muscle mass. This muscle mass is not confined to the area of the legs and core that are being worked by these exercises, it is also going to add muscle mass to your biceps as well. Make sure that you include these in your workouts, and you will see a difference.
