There certainly are a lot of different tools that are available on the marketing that claim to be able to help you to get in shape and lose your gut. One of our favorites (at least from a commercial standpoint), a throwback from several years ago is the ab chair 2006. First of all, I need to let you know that we are no newbies as far as the gym and working out is concerned. As a matter of fact, we have all spent countless hours working every part of our body, from head to toe. Of all of the different things that we have done, however, it was when we were finally able to show off our 6 pack abs that we really got excited. Of course, we didn’t do this with the help of any of these strange, late night contraptions that we saw on TV. In fact, most of our time was spent doing crunches, especially on the weight machines.

That doesn’t mean, however, that these machines don’t do any good at all, rather the contrary. The ab chair 2006, for example, is an excellent piece of equipment that can really help you to tone and define the abdominals. It is well put together and the action is light and smooth. After several minutes of working out in the ab chair 2006, we had broke quite a sweat and started to really feel it in our midsection.

The reason that we do not like the ab chair 2006 is because they do use some advertising that is rather deceptive. They show smiling happy people that don’t have an ounce of fat on them, working out in the chair and not feeling a thing. Let me let you in on a little secret. If you are not feeling anything when you are doing an abdominal workout, you are not doing it properly. The old motto, “no pain, no gain” really does count with these types of exercises.

Another thing that we don’t really like about any of these machines is that they come from the diet and weight loss industry. What they neglect to tell you is that, even if you have been working out your abdominals regularly and have abs of steel, you are not going to be able to see them if you still have a layer of fat on your midsection. That is why it is important for you to make sure that you are dieting properly, perhaps severely, if you want to lose enough body fat to let the abs shine through.

The people that have the ripped midsections generally have body fat in the single digits. That takes some determination and work on your part. If you are willing to do it, the ab chair 2006 can help you to achieve it, but it isn’t the only thing that you need to do along the way.
